The Rite of Swing Jazz Cafe at Temple University presents established and up-and-coming jazz groups regularly as part of their seasonal programming throughout the semester. In February of 2019 the Julian Hartwell Project had the privilege of gracing this fine space, sharing a program of original music and arrangements by composers from both the straight-ahead and modern jazz spectrum.

With a line-up featuring both Boyer College of Music Alum and current students (not to mention some of Philly's finest sidemen) this edition presents the JHP doing what it does best -- Live, Raw, and Acoustic quintet glory, baby!
