"Spirit Play" is a collection of nine improvisations at the piano.

These tracks were recorded one night in my home studio after meeting with my beloved Samaritan Experience AKA 'Power Tower' team and declaring for all to hear a new level, a higher order, a deeper relationship and level to my Christian faith than I previously have ever really acknowledged, admitted, or allowed for myself.

At the urging of our team leader to process this experience at my keyboard after the call, I proceeded to do just that. In an emotional but calm, centered place, i simply opened up to Holy Spirit to play through me and feel to the fullest whatever wanted to emerge, allowing it to flow through my instrument and thankfully, out into my home recording setup as well.
The result is what you find here - no second takes, no edits, no titles nor much post-production - just raw, eyes-closed, Spirit-led musical flow.
. .
I am grateful that I have the ability to express myself in such a free and unhindered fashion at this stage of my musical journey, by simply opening up and allowing what wants to come through me. My aim is to increasingly glorify God with music and indeed, all of my musical pursuits.
. . .
Whatever your religious persuasion or connection to what you might call "Spirit" - I hope this collection of spontaneous pieces brings you a bit of peace, harmony, surrender, joy, and connection wherever and however you listen. : )

May God keep you, guide you, and bless you in these interesting times!
