In May of 2018 I set out on the #JulesEuroTour - part music tour, mostly European vacation. I booked several gigs in places I had always wanted to go, not packing much besides travel essentials and several binders full of original music. One of those places was Berlin, Germany, where I booked a gig, got in touch with an old friend, and rounded up a quintet of some really talented players from the local scene.
Thus, a one-off band extraordinaire was created, for one-night only in the heart of the German capital - The JHP "Berlin Edition" !

So without further ado, enjoy these interpretations of some of my original music and arrangements from these truly inspired and stand-out European musicians I was graced to share the stage with.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to be an ambassador of this music overseas, and needless to say, as I'm sure you might find out upon further listening....jazz is most definitely alive and well in Berlin!
